The hotel is located close to the train station of "Santa Maria Novella", and to the congress and exbitions center, just a few steps far from the Cathredal and from all the museums and main monuments. Behind it You can find the " Cappelle Medicee" and the "San Lorenzo Market "with the "San Lorenzo Basilica".
The building, dated back to the XIIIth Century,used to be a Monastery and still keeps some untouched testimonies of the historical period: the perfect vaults and the rock romanic style pillar that characterize the room where buffet breakfast is served, or the coffered ceiling with wood beams in most of the rooms. At the ground floor there is the "Big Ceramic Pot" that almost reaches the ceiling, produced at the end of the XIX century, by "Manifattura Salvini" from Florence at 1898.

All the rooms, refurbished between 1999 and 2001, are decorated in traditional florentine style and are equipped with air conditioning, minibar, satellite TV, safety box, bathroom with hairdryer.
Our Buffet Breakfast offers to our Clients a big selection of corn-flakes, fresh or in syrup fruits, different kind of bread, marmelades, fresh or packed pastry, sweet and salted, ham and cheese, fruit juices and many other items! (Try to believe it.)!
All our guests have a discount of the 10% in the Trattoria "Antico Mercato", which is located at the hotel, and offer you the typical Toscany cuisines, and for the fish lovers, there is the "Lobs"restaurant, which is just a few meters away from the hotel.
