The building
A recently renovated and extended building located in the Città Studi – Loreto district just a few minutes from two underground lines giving a fast connection to the city centre and the exhibition centre on line 1 and to the Central station and the Air Terminal on line 2. The hotel is also located five minutes from the Eastern ring road and just ten minutes from Linate international airport. Restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, laundry, private garage.
The rooms
Hotel Lombardia has 78 rooms all facing off the street, with bath or shower, direct dial telephone, colour satellite TV, mini-bar, laundry service, adjustable air conditioning and heating, ADSL internet connection, pay TV, hair dryer and room service on request.
Meetings
Our two meeting rooms can seat from 20 to 160 people. Both have air conditioning, telephone lines, amplification systems, projectors, recorders and overhead projectors. On request, we can provide other services such as simultaneous translation in all languages, secretarial service, audio and video recordings, coffee break and bar service. Business lunches at special rates for conference participants.
Residence
A spacious residence is located within Hotel Lombardia and consists of 9 apartments, 6 of which are two-roomed and 3 are spacious one-room apartments. All the apartments are elegantly furnished and have a kitchenette, which is convenient for long stays, ADSL internet connection to be on-line all the time, satellite TV, adjustable air conditioning and heating.
Restaurant
There is also an elegant and airy restaurant at our guests’ disposal. With its spacious rooms, the restaurant and the friendly and numerous members of staff can cater for up to two hundred guests at the a time. This makes the restaurant an ideal place for wedding receptions, parties, catering activities and business cocktails.
How to reach us
From the Central Station:
From Piazza Duca d’Aosta turn left and go along Via Vitruvio. At the crossroads with Corso Buenos Aires, turn left and continue as far as Piazzale Loreto. Go round the roundabout and take the second on the right into Via Porpora. Go straight on for 500 metres and turn left into Viale Lombardia.
From Linate airport:
From Linate Airport, take Viale Forlanini in the direction of the city centre. Go straight on until the road joins Viale Corsica. Turn right into viale Campania and carry on as far as Piazzale Piola. The third turning on the right is Viale Lombardia. A 15-minute drive approximately.
By underground
Two underground stations are within easy reach of Hotel Lombardia: Loreto (red and green line) and Piola (green line). The first is no more than 500 metres from the hotel entrance, while the second can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes.
