Wrapped by the green and the quiet of the Lucchese countryside, 4 kilometres far from the Medieval walls of Lucca, you will find “La Corte”, a typical rustic building completely restored, trying to preserve the most characteristic elements, such as the wooden-beam ceilings and the “arches”, respecting the rustic Lucchese style.
Staying at “La Corte”, it is possible to take great pleasure in walking on the green hills around or going on bike trips up to the town or to the wonderful historical villas in the plain of Lucca (Villa Mansi, Villa Reale, Villa Torrigiani are only some of them).
From the centre of Capannori (100 metres) you can benefit from a handy bus service towards the historical centre of Lucca, or make use of the one towards the towns of Florence, Pisa, Viareggio and Montecatini Terme.
In the neighbourhood, there are pubs, discos and different sorts of cafés open until late at night, as well as typical restaurants, a swimming pool (only 500 metres from here), tennis courts, football fields and riding grounds.

The completely restored B&B is endowed with 4 cosy and comfortable bedrooms, each one with TV with satellite reception (and the possibility to have an extra bed) and 2 large bathrooms.
It has a private parking-place.
There is also a kitchen entirely equipped our guests can use at any time.
Breakfast is served by the owners, the Marchis family, in a large and romantic living room in winter and outside, on the threshing-floor, during summer time. You can taste very good typical cakes and delicious homemade jams.
Joining the protocol “BENVENUTI IN TOSCANA”, you can buy here typical products of Lucca such as olive oil, wine, jams and honey.
Luca and Giuseppe will always be happy to advise you where to enjoy the most typical and genuine dishes of the Tuscan tradition and where to spend the most amusing evenings.
For those who love nature and long walks on the marvellous hills all around, the owners will be glad to give all the information to enjoy the most picturesque and pleasant routes, privileging the very well known historical villas situated in the neighbourhood, which had been also the set of various Hollywood-movies.
How to reach us:
B&B “La Corte” is situated in a strategic position if you want to reach artistic cities such as Florence, Siena, Volterra, and Pisa, which you can visit with a one-day trip. It is 1 kilometre far from the Firenze-Mare (A11) motorway’s tollhouse of Capannori.You can easily drive up to the beaches of Versilia (in 20 minutes), to the charming mountains of Garfagnana (in 30 minutes) as well as Pisa (in 20 minutes) and Florence (in 45 minutes). In less than half an hour you can arrive in the famous thermal baths of Montecatini and, for the joy of the children, you can visit the Park of Pinocchio in Collodi, famous in the whole world.
From the A11 motorway:
Once you have left the motorway’s tollhouse of Capannori, go northwards following the indications to Capannori. Go straight on the provincial road Via della Madonnina passing the level crossing and the traffic lights. Reached the traffic circle, go on in the direction of Bagni di Lucca-Castelnuovo Garfagnana. After 300 meters, at the Agip petrol station, turn right in Via dei Marchi. At the end of the road, at No. 11, you will find the B&B “La Corte”.
From the centre of Lucca:
From the ring road around the walls go eastwards following the indications to Capannori-Altopascio. Take the Via Romana and go straight on for about 4 kilometres until you reach the traffic circle of Antraccoli, near the restaurant Spiedo d’Oro. Go on in the direction of Bagni di Lucca-Castelnuovo Garfagnana. After 300 meters, at the Agip petrol station, turn right in Via dei Marchi. At the end of the road, at No. 11, you will find the B&B “La Corte”.
