The Palace:
The Relais-Hotel "San Lorenzo" is a noble palace of the XV century in Lucca, unique in its architecture.
The palace has been built by the distinguished family Orsucci from Lucca. In the following centuries a nobleman from the House of Bourbon, one of Napoleon`s ministers - descendant of Elisa Bonaparte - and important prelates of the pope resided in this palace.
Today it offers its guets the charm of a historical significant edifice with the interior design of a luxurious hotel, a place of leisure in the historical centre of Lucca.
During the cooler season our guests may relax in the heated drawing-room with its beautiful fire-place.

The rooms of the Relais Hotel "San Lorenzo" have been completely redecorated with all comfort for your stay. However, the original style elements reminding one of the times, when the Toscana was a duchy remained untouched.
All rooms have a bath-room, hair-dryer, colour-TV (LCD), air-condition and towel-heating.

The Location:
The Relais-Hotel is situated in the heart of the historical centre of the town of Lucca, very close to the church "relais san lorenzo" and the "Via Fillungo" (main promenade with many nice little shops).
Only a couple of steps away you find a city-bus stop and a shuttle-service stop, both rarely frequented. Upon request a limousine or a minibus transfer from and to the station, as well as to the airports in Pisa and Florence or to other destinations can be ordered.
