Who are we?
Filarete.net is the new portal of tourism for hotel reservation that arises from the idea of a relation with some Italian hotel structures.
Filarete.net is a totally free service, for users of all over the world able to compare facilities of every location and creates a direct link without go-betweens.
All the information on the facilities is directly inserted by the operators of the structures with the supervision of the Staff of Filarete.net that guarantees the truthfulness and the correctness.
You can do the researches examining all the information on the facility by using their form, checking the location on the map, availability of rooms, rates and general services of the structure and of the room/s available. All this information, including the rates, is directly inserted by the facility. Filarete.net does not apply any surcharge on the rate and does not modify in any way all the information inserted by the hotels.
Security and privacy
Italian hotels, at the booking process require credit card data as guarantee. This data is released directly from the System to the hotel facility by means of protected and cryptographed circuits, only once the reservation has been confirmed. The credit card data after the transaction to the hotel facility are cancelled from the memory to guarantee maximum security.
Filarete.net and the facility do not charge anything with the credit card, they just verify the truthfulness.
You will pay directly the facility you have booked at the end of your stay, and you can opt for different terms of payments. All the data inserted at registration time are strictly confidential and supplied by the System directly to the facility by means of a protected and cryptographed circuit. This data is needed by the facility to proceed with the booking formalities and eventually to create a direct contact in order to supply a better service.
Once booked, the facility will answer your request within 48 hours at the most.
How to cancel a reservation
The reservation can be modified or cancelled in any moment through the user control panel, which is controlled by a password given by the System at the moment of the first reservation.
The eventual cancellations, anyhow, must be made respecting the "Cancellation Policy" of the booked facility described at every step during the booking procedures.
How to carry out a reservation
We suggest to proceed with the research by using the form available in all the research pages of the portal. The use of the form, by inserting location, period of stay, and room type, allows you to simplify the research excluding all the facilities that do not meet the characteristics needed.
Once the research is completed the System offers a list of the facilities able to meet your requests. The list offers immediately a further selection by comparing the general services and the approximate rates. From this list it’s possible to enter into the form of the facility, check the position on the map and proceed with the first step of the reservation.
The reservation is made up of 4 steps:
- I step - check availability.
By selecting the dates of the stay you can check the availability of rooms in the chosen facility. - II step - available rooms.
In this step you can visualize all the available rooms of the facility; it’s possible to select the number of rooms needed and visualize the rates for the whole stay. - III step - Log-in / Registration.
During this step you can see an overall recap of all the reservation (essential information on the facility, period of stay, rooms required, rates for the entire stay with eventual services and taxes, Rules of cancellation, etc.).
To continue with the reservation it’s necessary to insert the registration password if other reservations have already been done with the System, if not get registered, in order to insert all the necessary data needed by the facility, if it’s the first time that you use Filarete.net. After the new registration (if it’s the first reservation you carry out with the System) or after having inserted the password given during the registration to the System, you will be able to access the fourth and last step without loosing all the data related to the reservation that you are carrying out. - IV step - Recap of Reservation and guarantees.
At the fourth and last step of the reservation it’s once again possible to double check all the data of the reservation and insert the credit card data that will be forwarded to the facility by means of protected and crypto graphed circuit only in the case that the hotel will confirm the reservation and will anyhow be cancelled from the System to guarantee maximum security.
The credit card data is used by the facility as guarantee for the reservation. There is no charge on the credit card neither from Filarete.net, which supplies an entirely free service to the customer, nor from the facility. You will pay directly to the facility at the end of your stay.
It’s also possible to add a message to supply additional information or to ask information of any kind directly to the manager of the facility.
Once the reservation has come to an end you will receive directly from the System Filarete.net a recap e-mail of the reservation done and at this point you will have to wait that the facility you have chosen answers via e-mail, confirming the reservation, all this before considering it successful (48 hours at the most).
We remind you that by means of your control panel, of which, password and user id will be given to you at registration time or at any other time you request them, you will be able to modify or cancel the reservations made.
